PREMIER LEAGUE - KOLO TOURE SUSPENDED AFTER FAILED DRUGS TESTTHU, 03 MAR 19:14:00 2011

LONDON
Manchester defender Kolo Toure has been suspended by the club after failing a drugs test on his A-sample.
..The club confirmed in a short statement on their website that Toure had been informed by the FA that an A-sample provided by him returned positive.
"He has been suspended from participating in all first team and non-first team matches pending the outcome of the legal process," the City statement read.
"There will be no further comment from the football club at this stage."
Toure, 29, is the club's vice-captain and arrived at Eastlands from Arsenal for £16 million at the start of the 2009-10 season.
He has played more than 50 competitive games for City and has been capped 85 times by Ivory Coast.
His brother, midfielder Yaya Toure, also plays for the club after leaving Barcelona in a £24m deal last summer.
