TANZANIA’S GIANTS FIND A STOMPING GROUND ON SUPERSPORT, ON DSTV
Dar es Salaam. Young Africans Sports Club and Simba Sports Club will get to stake a claim for the inclusion of the Dar es Salaam derby in the top five greatest African derbies in front of a continental audience as DStv SuperSport in association with Star TV broadcasts the match live on Saturday.
Star TV, the broadcast rights holders of the Tanzanian Premier League and the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) have agreed to let DStv SuperSport broadcast the epic encounter between Tanzania’s most successful clubs to a larger continental audience.
SuperSport’s head of Africa, Gary Rathbone had nothing but praises for Star TV and the Tanzanian Football Federation.
"This match is truly one of the great derbies in African football and we are grateful to have the opportunity to share this fantastic match with football fans across the continent. A match like this deserves an international stage"
A continental audience of over 32 African states will tune in to what is shaping up to be a potential Ligi Kuu Bara title decider.
The match is live on SuperSport 9 at 3.55pm from the 60 000-seater National Stadium, a venue both teams call home, something unique to only the Dar es Salaam and Milan derbies.
